PDF Automation in Studio

The PDF Automation with Studio course is an intermediate level course where you will be introduced to the types of PDF documents and how to install the UiPath PDF Activities package. You’ll learn about UiPath PDF scraping and how to extract data from PDFs using UiPath Studio.    

This course was originally built using UiPath Studio version 2022.10, with updates reflecting changes in version 2023.10. We recommend using UiPath Studio 2023.10 to fully benefit from the latest features and improvements.  

The PDF Automation with Studio course is a 1 hour 15 minutes course targeted at Automation Developers.   

• Extracting data using PDF activities 

• Practice 1—Extract data using PDF activities 

• Extracting a single piece of data from multiple PDF 

• Practice 2—Extract data from multiple PDFs 

At the end of the PDF Automation in Studio course, you should be able to:  

• Install the UiPath PDF Activities Package.  

• Use the appropriate activities, from the Package, to extract large text segments from PDF files. 

• Identify how you can extract a single piece of information from a PDF document. 

• Use the UI automation capabilities of Studio to extract fluctuating values from multiple files with the same structure.
